Privacy Policy
Last updated June 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AreYouCorrect ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Content you create: forecasts, confidence levels, resolution criteria, comments, and reactions.
- Optional profile details: bio and country, which you may provide for leaderboards.
- Usage data: basic logs and metadata needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
- To provide core features: publishing forecasts, scoring, reputation, and calibration analytics.
- To compute public reputation, accuracy, and leaderboard standings.
- To send essential account notifications, such as email verification.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.
Public vs. private content
Forecasts you publish publicly — including their statement, confidence, and outcome — are visible to others and contribute to your public track record. Forecasts you save to your Diary remain private to you and are never shown publicly, though they still inform your private calibration analytics.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (such as hosting and email delivery), or where required by law.
Your choices
- Update your profile and default visibility in Settings.
- Choose Diary (private) visibility for any forecast you do not want public.
- Request account deletion by contacting support.
